About Me
Hello, I am Alba, a 20 year old girl who would be willing to look after children during the week and on weekends. I adapt easily to everything, I take my work very seriously and I like to do different activities with children, make them laugh and have a good time. I have experience working with children since I was 17 years old. In 2023, I was minding two children that were 9 and 11 years old, in Spain. I have also been an au pair in France with a 5-month-old girl, in 2024. I also worked with toddlers in Ireland, with a 21 month old girl. Also, with a 7 year old girl and an 11 year old girl. I have references and I have First Aid certificate. I am passionate about children, and I could also teach them Spanish if it was wanted since it’s my native language. I would be willing to also bring help in the house, I wouldn't mind helping with the cleaning, making food, tidying up the children rooms... etc. I love getting to know new cultures, and I would love to get to know your family. My Experience
Experience with Children Under 2 Years
I worked in France as an au pair last summer. I was looking after a 5-month-old baby girl. My hours were from 9am to 5pm. My activities were feeding her, putting her to bed, changing diapers and playing with her. I would be on my own with her, while the parents would be working. Sometimes the parents would come home to eat. While she was napping, I was in charge of cooking. Once a week, I also cleaned the house. Also, I worked in Ireland with a 21 month old. My routine was from 9am to 5pm. (With a 2 hour nap normally). I would bring her for walks and to the park, we would play together, and she would also socialize with other kids. When we were at home, we would sometimes play in the garden and also would do some painting or drawing. My duties were feeding her lunch, making some snacks for her, changing her napies and playing together. We spent a lot of time outside.
