Special Needs Experience
I’m a dedicated and compassionate childcare professional with experience working with children with diverse needs. As a teacher in Brazil, I worked closely with a young student diagnosed with ADHD, Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD), and dyslexia. This role taught me to develop customized strategies, blending patience, structure, and positive reinforcement to support his academic and behavioral growth. Additionally, I had the privilege of teaching a young girl with non-verbal autism, intellectual disability, ADHD, and microcephaly. My focus was on creating a nurturing and structured environment tailored to her individual needs. I incorporated sensory-friendly activities and adapted communication techniques to help her feel safe, included, and supported in her daily routine. These experiences have made me adaptable, patient, and attentive to the unique requirements of each child, equipping me with the skills to offer inclusive and compassionate care. I am passionate about making a positive impact on children's lives and am committed to helping them thrive in a safe and supportive setting.
