About Me

Hi! My name is Georgia, I am 24 and originally from Derbyshire, England. I have been living in Ranelagh since December 2023, and I'm now seeking an au pair role in the local area. I hold a first-class degree in Early Childhood Studies, and am a qualified primary school teacher, giving me a strong background in supporting children's holistic development and well-being. I'm excited about the opportunity to bring my knowledge and experience into a family setting and contribute to your children's growth in a nurturing, positive way, I am passionate about outdoor activities such as walking, hiking, cycling and sea swimming, and enjoy staying active. I'm also an animal lover - I walk dogs in the local area during my spare time and have a dog (pictured) and two cats back home in Derbyshire. I would be more than happy to live alongside your furry friends too! Please get in touch if you would like more information or feel that I could be the ideal au pair for your family - I look forward to hearing from you!

My Experience

Special Needs Experience

As a qualified primary school teacher, I have experience working with children with autism and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). I am confident in my ability to support the unique care and educational needs of all children, adapting my approach to meet their individual requirements.

Experience with Children Under 2 Years

I hold a first-class degree in Early Childhood Studies (0-8 years) which I earned over three years of study and hands-on experience in several nursery settings and a primary school. Throughout my practical placements, in various nursery settings, I gained comprehensive experience in all aspects of early childhood care and education. My responsibilities included supervising and engaging with children during their play, leading educational activities to support their holistic development, and attending to their needs such as feeding, changing and comforting. During these placements, I was involved in every aspect of the nursery setting, including supervising and interacting with children as they engaged in play, leading educational activities that support holistic development, and attending to children's needs such as feeding, changing and comforting.
