Completed Special Needs Assistant Fetac course with Blackrock College of Further Education. Continue to Upskill for personal development by attending courses such as Emotion Coaching, Trauma Informed Approach , Positive Behaviour Modelling to name a few.
As part of my working life I attend First Aid Training every 2 years. I have lived experience of bumps and bruises as I cover School Yard Duty daily.
I have worked with neurodivergent children with many differing complex needs for the past 15years. The children have taught me so much and I enjoy the privilege of being in their lives. I also have tutored and cared for children with additional needs outside the school environment.
I have experience of my own two children as babies and my nephew with complex needs. I am aware the basics like dietary advice, cot safety, room temperature, will have other recommendations and I am confident I can follow advice.
