In my role as a family nanny I have worked with babies to teenagers with both ‘at Home’ and working mothers, in larger rural properties and smaller urban ones with and without family pets. In addition to all the usual disciplines expected from a family nanny, I pride myself on actively incorporating my experience gained whilst working in Early Learning, Primary and Secondary Schools for monitoring Developmental Milestones, practicing Enhanced Safeguarding and actively engaging with the schools as a liaison between teachers and parents including Parent/Teacher meetings when required. Working as a nanny during Covid also meant I was responsible for Online learning with the older children and implementing fun education activities with the younger ones. I helped my last family relocate from the MIddle East to the UK, temporarily settle there whilst the mother had a baby and then relocate again with them to a permanent home in Ireland. This role involves complete care for two children - doctors, dentists, play dates, school runs, and dog groomers - the dogs not the children ;) I plan weekly meals, shop and prepare fresh meals from scratch and ensure the freezer is always filled with nutritious meals for when I am off duty.
