I have a QQI Level 5 qualification in Social Care and Psychology. While I am aware that this is not a childminding qualification, 5 out of 9 modules I completed are modules which are included in a childminding course. I am also studying primary teaching in Maynooth University and have completed a large amount of work placement in several primary schools.

One of the lovely children I cared for from ages newborn to 4 was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) at age 3 and I also cared for a child (aged 7) this summer who has Down Syndrome.
I have been childminding for a family for the past 5 years. I cared for their four children from ages newborn to 4 until they started primary school.
