Hello! My name is Camilla de Jesus Carvalho, and I am a dedicated nanny passionate about child development. I have a degree in Pedagogy since 2021 and have had a fulfilling career working with children of different ages, from infants to teenagers. My professional journey began in 2019 when I started interning at a school, where I learned and developed valuable skills in childcare and education. After graduating, I continued working at the same institution, and due to my commitment and competence, I was promoted to the position of coordinator. Throughout my career, I have developed several essential skills for childcare: Cognitive Development: Creating activities that stimulate learning and logical reasoning. Emotional and Social Development: Promoting a nurturing environment that helps children develop communication, empathy, and teamwork skills. Motor Skills: Planning activities that encourage the development of fine and gross motor skills, tailored to each age group. Behavior Management: Implementing effective techniques to manage challenging behaviors and promote positive discipline. Organization and Planning: Planning daily routines that balance educational activities, recreational time, and moments of rest. Additionally, I completed a postgraduate degree in Montessori Literacy for Early Years and School Management, which provided me with a deep understanding of child-centered teaching methodologies and educational administration. I recently arrived in Ireland and am excited to continue my career as a nanny. Although my English is still basic, I am committed to learning and improving my language skills with both the family and the children.
