I’m a 21 year old lady and have always loved spending time with children. Seeing them happy is one of the greatest joys in life. Growing up I took on the role of the eldest sibling in a big family, I have always been the babysitter in the house and am often left to mind all my sibling (4-14 and my eldest sister who has Down syndrome) for up to a week at a time as my parents enjoy going away together often. I am a foster sister and am fully Garda vetted. I have experience babysitting a wonderful little girl with autism, we followed a strict routine ensuring she was kept busy all day with activities I had planned, such as baking, arts and crafts, music, homemade games, outdoor activities and many more. I had to prep meals for her based off the foods she was comfortable with while following a well balanced healthy diet. I absolutely love babysitting as it doesn’t feel like a job, I’m comfortable with any age and have had plenty experience with babies, toddlers, schooling age and even young teens! I’m currently studying social science as I have always been passionate about helping kids and am hoping to go to study child psychology in the future.
