Hi I’m Maeve! I’m a fun, friendly and responsible 21 year old, passionate about caring for children. I have extensive experience with childcare. I began babysitting for families in my area when I was 13. Since then I have babysat for 20+ families, minding children of all ages from 8 months-16 years. This includes evening babysitting, childcare for full days and sometimes staying overnight while parents are away. I am entering my final year of university where I study dietetics in Trinity College/TUD. I have a particular interest in paediatric dietetics and have completed placement settings in children’s hospital wards and primary care settings across the county. As part of my course I have knowledge regarding children’s health including allergies, weaning, growth, and medical issues and am certified in first aid (I also completed a year long lifesaving course aside from college). I am starting a placement in Crumlin Children’s Hospital in August and would love to continue childminding on weekends and evenings. I also can drive so travelling is not a problem for me :)
