I am currently working with one single child family, also experienced with a family of four children. This consists of minding the children in their own house, making dinners, dropping to and from school and extra curricular activities. I help with organising and managing the demands of a big family with the varying ages and needs of each child.
General understanding, have never had any issues in my last two years childminding. Will receive Garda Vetting if requested, previously attended UCC and was vetted for that time.
Autism and AFRID. Have helped a child, and parents, navigate the transition from preschool to primary school. Experienced with sensory issues, meltdowns and the necessity of structure, routines and certain aversions/special interests. I understand how neurodivergent traits manifest differently in every child, but I am very comfortable with children on the spectrum.
