Hi! Im Ciara. Im am 21 and Im from Terenure. I am currently in my second year of an Honours Degree in Applied Social Care Studies, building on my Level 5 qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care. Growing up, I was inspired by my mother who has been a dedicated childminder for many years, and through her I developed a natural passion and understanding of childcare from an early age. Alongside my academic knowledge of child development and key childcare theories, I have gained valuable hands-on experience through placements in both a Montessori and a crèche setting. I also worked full-time in a crèche for four months last summer, caring for children aged 9 months to 5 years, which strengthened my practical skills in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment. In addition, I have provided private childminding for families, further enhancing my experience. I am Garda vetted, highly responsible, and committed to supporting each child’s development. Im particularly passionate about creative activities such as arts and crafts, as well as music, where I enjoy incorporating my ability to play instruments into engaging learning experiences.
