My name is Clodagh. I am 22 years old who love working with children. Since the age of sixteen I have constantly surrounded my working environment based on working with children of all ages. I understand how vulnerable and innocent children are and I find joy in seeing them develop, learn and grow into the best versions of themselves. My past work experience involves working in a special needs school, a "Deis" school, which is ultimately for children who are less fortunate, and I have been a childminder for three kids who are siblings that ranged from the ages 6 months-9 years old. I also was a nanny/childminder for a baby who was 12 months old. That involved minding the baby from early in the morning to the late afternoon. It involved feeding, nappies and sleeping etc. I am currently studying Law and languages in University. I would like to describe myself as a patient, confident, kind, understanding, intelligent and empathetic person. I am very creative and make the most out of what I am given, which ultimately makes me think I am very positive too! I am definitely extroverted in the best way possible. I am studying Law and Languages in University at the moment. I was previously studying Nursing, which I specifically wanted to specialise in paediatric nursing but unfortunately that did not go to plan. However, that did not stop me from still working with children which is one of my passions. I completed a First Aid course which I hope would make parents feel reassured. I completed all 1st, 2nd and 3rd level education in Ireland. In my free time I like to exercise, whether that is going on beach walks with my dog, going on a run, playing a game of tennis or even just visiting the gym. Without a doubt I also like to spend time with my friends and family, whom I am very close with. I love to be constantly ups killing and learning new things in life, which is why I would like to travel and experience a different culture!
