I am going into my 3rd year of early childhood education and care in cork. I have a level 6 at the moment. I have completed 2 years of 3 block weeks placement which involved babies, toddlers and children with additional needs.
Yes I participated in a first aid course in ty in secondary school.
Yes I did my second block placement in a primary school that had children with additional needs and I found it very rewarding.
Yes I did my placement in a babies and toddlers crèche where I did 3 weeks of each.
