I’m a 21 year old seeking employment as a nanny. I began working with children at the age of 14, assisting my aunt during the summer by caring for children, aged 2 to 5. At 17 I worked in a crèche in the summer months caring for children aged 8 months to 5 years. My responsibilities included planning engaging games and activities, supervising nap times, feeding, and cleaning. I rotated weekly between different age-group rooms, which allowed me to gain experience working with a variety of developmental stages.Over the past year, I have only been able to provide childcare occasionally during evenings and weekends, as I was working full-time in a medical factory. In November of last year, I left my full-time role to return to childminding, as my true passion lies in working with young children.
