First impressions are fundamental, especially when they are very brief and have to be concise. 
I am an ordinary girl who loves children and cherishes the meaningful relationship that can build with them. I am a second-year student at UCD, and I am studying English with Creative Writing. I think everyone has a voice that is worth listening to. I know how difficult it can be for some adults, for instance, to take young people’s opinion into consideration when serious matters are discussed. However, I believe that younger voices are worth listening to, because everyone, no matter how small or insignificant he or she can appear in the eyes of someone, has something insightful to tell and a unique perspective to offer. I also firmly believe that keeping an open mind and having a kind heart are the keys to being able to be happy around others and live life with no regrets. I have 2 weeks of experience working in a kindergarten as an intern through a program called "Alternanza Scuola-Lavoro." In 2021, I spent 3 months in Ireland as an au pair for two children, ages 5 and 7. During one summer, I babysat my neighbors' children, who were 2 and 4 years old at the time. I helped them wake up, prepared their lunches and dinners, and played with them. From 2015 to 2019, I served as a children's entertainer for my town's summer camp. For a year, I assisted the nun who taught catechism to fifth graders. Additionally, I have co-organized and entertained at children's parties, and I tutored a middle school student in English.
