I love kids since I was one myself. I come from a very big Brazilian/Italian family (I have more than 20 cousins) and I babysat many of younger cousins from when I was 11 years old to recently. During the past two summers, I worked in a summer camp in the United States where I lived with groups of kids ages 8 to 11 and 14 to 15 for 21 hours a day and 6 days per week. It was the best experience ever to work with so many talented staff and children and hear things like “You are my favorite counselor!”. I helped many of the kids who were very homesick and seeing them happy and seeing that they were glad that they stayed at camp and were enjoying it instead of going home was the best feeling ever. Right now I am living in Dublin and I work during the mornings and weekends on a store and during the weekdays afternoons on an after school program where I take care of kids ages 5 to 9. I love doing creative projects with children (arts and crafts) and I love getting to know them. I am responsible, organized, adaptable, proactive and respectful. I am that kind of person that can spend hours sitting in the ground playing with toys and games with the kids, because that is what I loved to do as a kid and what I loved to do when I babysat my little cousins. I also love going on little walks to explore the neighborhood and stay outside when the weather allows. Although I come from Brazil, I am fluent in english and had to use it as my main form of communication at the summer camp I worked. I am used to speaking english with people from all ages and all backgrounds.
