I have experience babysitting for different families over the years and I have my level 8 qualification in childcare. In the process of my Masters in Primary Education.
About Me
My name is Ellen and I’m 22 years old. I have a level 8 degree in Early Childhood Education and Care from Mary Immaculate College, Limerick. I have also a Masters in Primary Education. I am currently teaching full time.
I am based in North Kilkenny but willing to travel. Maximum 30 mins. I had a full time job in a local Montessori and I also worked in a summer camp in America for three months. I have completed five work placements during my four year college degree in preschools and have experience with children of all ages and needs. I have subbed in many primary schools and have gained experience with all age groups. I play lots of sports and I am very artistic. I am available for flexible work during summer time. I finish school Friday 26th of June. I am available until the 16th of July. I am available five days a week 9-5 Monday to Friday. And then weekends September to June. I am driving so I am able to commute to a necessary location.

My Experience
First Aid Experience
I completed a paedriatic first aid course in November. I am also a fully qualified life guard at the minute so I also have general first aid. I have completed a manual handling course for lifting children as well. All certs can be provided upon request.
Special Needs Experience
Whilst on placement and working in a Primary School I spent some time in the ASD classrooms as a substitute teacher and have experience with children with Autism, ADD/ADHD, Down-Syndrome.
Experience with Children Under 2 Years
I have experience with children from birth to thirteen years old. I have a level 8 degree in Early Childhood Education and Care which focuses on children from birth to six. I have worked in a Primary School and gained experience with older children in America.
