My name is Éabha, I am a 3rd level student and have just completed my second year studying Primary Teaching in DCU. I am seeking a job in childminding/babysitting throughout the week now that I have finished college for this academic year and have great experience working alongside children. I am a competent, astute individual who always endeavours to work to a high standard. I am a very sociable individual and have been described as a good leader. Education- 2021 - 2025 • St Patrick’s College, DCU 2015 - 2021 • Sutton Park School, Sutton 2006 – 2015 • Belgrove, St John the Baptist Girl’s School, Clontarf Interests & Achievements · Qualified volleyball and rowing coach · First aid qualification · Tutor primary school kids in Irish and English Work Experience- Afterschool coach N-zone Sports Crèche and After School Club o Prepared breakfast and dinner to children throughout the day o Dropped and collected children to and from school every day o Co-ordinated and supervised activities with fellow colleagues to entertain children o Assisted on several excursions to local parks, monitoring over 30 children o Conversed with parents about any problems that may have occurred with their children throughout the day o Started each day with a plan on how to oversee activities throughout the day and prioritised tasks that had to be undertaken Placement experience- A requirement for my college years is to complete a certain amount of weeks on school placement. Last year I completed 3 weeks in Sutton Park School working alongside 3rd class. I prepared a series of lessons everyday, catering for children with additional needs and supported them throughout each school day. I recently just completed 4 weeks of placement in Greenlanes National School working with 6th class. Again, preparing and undertaking 3 lessons a day catering for each child's needs and also accompanying them on local excursions to football matches during each week. Overall I have great experience working alongside children and have substitute taught in many schools around Dublin working alongside children with additional needs. Availability: As I have recently just completed my second year of college, my availability is very flexible and can work around the needs of your family. I do have a drivers license and therefore I am open to travelling or collecting children from school/afternoon activities etc. should you require me to do so.
