Hello, I am Celia, an 19 year old girl who wants to go to a new country to improve my language skills. I have a degree in International Business, and before starting a new year of study I wanted to experience the au pair job. I have been babysitting my family's and my city's children since I was a teenager. I am a very responsible and mature person. I can also help with housework, I am used to it at home. Besides improving my language skills, I know that personally speaking this experience will enrich me. I am very cheerful and I am very eager to discover a new culture. Why au pair? I think the first reason is to learn English in a better way than through school. But most of all I think it is for personal enrichment. I have always been able to travel and I know that I am capable of this mobility. By being an au pair I could see another culture and another way of life than mine. Opening up to the world and to people is one of the most beautiful things in my opinion. What I expect from my stay as an au pair is language skills, but especially a very good experience. What I expect from my host family is a loving and respectful family who will want to be there as much as I do. A happy and funny family that will integrate me as a full member. It is normal for me to participate in the housework, so you can count on me to have a clean house!
