About Me

My name is Veronika and I am a student of English and History Teaching at Charles University in Prague. In my free time, I volunteer at the scout, therefore I am used to taking care of kids, even several simultaneously. I love spending my time with children and have experience taking care of kids aged 1,5-14. I am coming to Cork as an exchange student for 5 months and would love to gain more experience. I also have a course for medics, so if an emergency occurs, I can act quickly and responsibly. I love to draw or do various crafts with the kids. At scout, we also play outside a lot, so I know many games!

My Experience

First Aid Experience

I have a course for medics that entitles me to act as a camp nurse during summer camps or stays with children in the Czech Republic. I can provide first aid whenever needed and treat minor cuts or medical issues. I can provide a copy of the certificate, although only in Czech.

Experience with Children Under 2 Years

I have experience looking after children aged 1 year and a half and older. I have been babysitting a young gentleman a few hours a week, spending time outside with a pushchair or at the playground.
