About Me

Hi, I’m Stephanie and for as long as I can recall, I’ve enjoyed working with children. I went to college for it and learned so much from it. I was given the opportunity to do placements in crèches, a special needs school, and was part of a successful parent and toddler group at my college. I find joy in seeing children learn and grow with every little thing from this big world around us. I see myself as a hardworking, knowledgeable and trustworthy person to be able to give a child what they need in order to grow and be happy and healthy.

My Experience

Child Minding Qualifications

I have a level 8 childcare degree from Dundalk Institute of Technology. I have done professional placements in crèches, a special needs school and I have been a part of planning and implementing a parent and toddler group at my college.

First Aid Experience

I did first aid in college where we learned and practiced basic techniques and safety in terms of first aid. I have my certificate and I am qualified to administer first aid.

Special Needs Experience

I attended a special needs school for professional placement in which I cared for the youngest room (2-4 years old).

Experience with Children Under 2 Years

I’ve worked with babies in my placements on more than one occasion. I cared for them, fed them, bottled them while on placement. Additionally, in my job right now I work in a crèche with a baby room. In my times of working in said room I gave them the utmost care in interacting with them, feeding them, changing them, bottling them and playing with them.
