About Me
Hi, I have recently moved back to Ireland from the UK, there, I was a registered childminder for over 10 years. I cared for children from 4 months up to 11+ yrs.
Before that I worked in nurseries which I thoroughly enjoyed.
My decision to childmind came when my eldest was due to start school and I had just had my youngest. A decision I have never regretted.
In this time I was able to provide a home from home environment which stimulated and educated the youngest of minds. Daily diaries were kept and communication with parents was paramount.
I take pride in providing healthy home cooked meals and snacks, and planning fun busy days.
My Experience
First Aid Experience
Updated paediatric first aid, done every 3 years for over 15 yrs.
Special Needs Experience
Whilst undergoing my childcare training, I worked in a school for children with special needs ages 4yrs - 11yrs For the past 4 years I have had care from afterschool a child with autism, working with the school to support family. Another child with ASD and type 1 diabetes for near 7 yrs.
Experience with Children Under 2 Years
Mum to 2 girls now 10 and 14 yrs old. Experience with twins Cared for children in previous setting from 4 months
