I was trained with WorldWide Kids before beginning work there. I also attended a first aid training course in 2019. I would be happy to attend any courses/ training provided by the employer.
About Me
Hey! My name is Ellen, I am 22 years old and an experienced childminder living in Dublin looking for work.
I began working with children as a babysitter for many local families during my early teens. My experience since then has grown greatly. I had the privilege of nannying for two young toddlers in 2021, and more recently with a family with a 9 and 13 year old.
I also had the opportunity to work in a kids club and creche these past three summers abroad. Alongside an American summer camp.
I have experience with kids of all ages (4 months - 13 years)
I am currently on a year off from my college course.I also currently only hold a learners permit, so can not drive children.
My Experience
Special Needs Experience
I have worked briefly alongside children with various needs during my time working in a holiday kids club. While these experiences were short term they were not uncommon. During my time there, I worked to help cater for children with Down Syndrome, ADHD, Autism and a range of other medical needs.
Experience with Children Under 2 Years
I began working with a family while their girls were 18 months. I also worked in a creche where we had babies from 4 months and up in our care.
