Hiya, I'm looking for either a part time job working with children or a full time job that has a bit of flexiablity. I am currently minding two children part time ( 25 hours approx a week) but shortly they will be travelling and I wont be needed for a period of time. I have years of experience in minding children , teenagers,minding twins and their siblings and I also have experience in minding children with autisum and ADHD. I have also worked closed with young adults with disabilities also so my experience is quite diverse and I am able to provide references if required. I do not have garda vetting however I have no problem is getting this done if required. I am kind,caring,loving and fun. I am punctiual and respectful. Ideally I would be looking for something in Cork City center or not to far from here and preferably on a bus route as I dont drive. I also dont smoke. I am pet friendly and dont mind also looking after your furbabies. I dont mind doing school drop off's/collections, preparing meals etc. I love doing fun age apprioate lead activities and making learning fun for children through various games. I also dont mind tidying up the home as well if required. If a full time position is available some flexabilty is a must as I do mind two autistic children mainly on the weekends & I do occasionally collect another child from creche. I would be happy to discuess what these other secdules look like with the right family so we can figure out something that works for everyone. I am pretty laid back in that sense and try to make everyone happy. I can be a little shy until I am surrounded by my surroundings but once Im familiar I'm a typical Irish person and I dont stop talking. Ideally I would love to do either 12 hour shifts or do evenings/nights and overnights but I am open to anything and discuessing anything really. I love baking , reading and arts and crafts. I love being out and about when the weather permits weather thats to the parks, going on nature walks, going shopping or visiting the marina markets etc. That being said when the weather is horrible I love playing games in doors, doing arts and crafts, cuddling up on the couch with a movie etc. I also love going to age appriate events for example story time in the libary if I am minding a toddler. I am also open to doing play dates etc , I do try and do this often, for example the twins and one other child I mind I do play dates with a few times a month and all kiddos are friends.(those that are close in age or I feel like could learn from another , an example of this is bringing a slightly shier child and a more outgoing child together to play as they both can learn from each other i.e gaining more confidence) If you are a family looking for childcare and also know another family looking for childcare I would be open to this idea also.
