I did scouts from the age of 6 to the age of 16 and throughout the years we regularly learned basic first aid and CPR training. We learned about the contents of first aid kits and how to dress and cover wounds. We also have learned techniques like the recovery position.
In the summer of 2019, I had work experience with my local “Brightsparks Childcare Centre”. I worked alongside different age groups, helped with activities and completed necessary jobs that helped with the everyday runnings of the centre. It was a very enjoyable experience as I like working alongside children and I still have many drawings that would’ve been given to me while I was there.
