First Aid Experience
I have a first aid qualification from 2017.
I have a first aid qualification from 2017.
Whilst I do not have experience with specifically special needs children, I have experience with clients in Cope Foundation. Swimming, singing, games etc. I also am blessed to have an aunty Kay who has Rubeinstein Taby-Syndrome. I have grown up living next to her, and learnt how to care and converse with someone with special needs since a young age. I understand and appreciate the patience and nurturing values needed to provide the best care, and I am happy with my development in these certain skills.
I was a full time childminder for the summer of 2018. Monday to Friday 8:30-5 for June, July and August. I had the pleasure of minding an 18 month old girl and a four year old boy. I did the usual changing nappies, feeding, nap times, play time, outside play time, learning activities, lots of singing and dancing (a passion of mine), and applied all the nurturing, caring, and patient traits of mine. I have also been lucky enough to live close by my younger cousins who I have babysat regularly they have been newborns and watched and minded them growing up. My young cousin who is now 8 years old I am lucky enough to call my best friend and we have an extremely close bond. I have babysat her since she was a newborn and as she is an only child, she sees me as her big sister. I pride myself in this and feel extremely lucky and proud! :)
