I am Benedetta Balostro, a 26-year-old girl from Italy and I am now living in Westbourne Villas, Western Road, Cork. After having attended and concluded Art Hight School, I then decided to enrol at the University of Genoa where I studied History of Art, focusing particularly on Medieval, Modern and Contemporary Arts. During my studies I have also worked as an intern for museums and for a restoration laboratory. In five years was able to take the Bachelor’s Degree in Conservation of Cultural Heritage (three years) and the Master’s Degree in History of Art (two years). During my entire life, including my academic studies, I have done several jobs, and had the opportunity to work as: - Babysitter for children from 6 months old to 10 years old; - Dog sitter for small and medium sized dogs; - Customer assistant in a small supermarket; - Kindergarten and Primary School Teacher, implementing various manual activities based on the children's interests and curiosities, active plays. I have also done supervision of children in play and rest activities and created and maintained a relationship of trust with the children's parents; - Tutoring for humanistic subjects; - Tourist guide for Museums and churches of the city of Genoa; - Athletics instructor for children; - Assistant chef in local restaurants and gastronomic events; After my Master’s Degree I have worked for an Italian company as Project Manager. My main activities were to analyse and study the active Italian and European bonuses in order to allocate them to individuals, families and companies. After almost a year of work I decided to resign and move to Cork to look for new opportunities and to improve my English skills. At the moment my level of English is basic (A2) but I consider myself a strong and willing girl ready to face all the new challenges. In this regard, I am ready and willing to start a new job in any required field. In my free time, I love doing and practicing outdoor activities. In particular, my greatest passion are running and cycling. I often take part in competitions, and I am officially enrolled in a running and a cycling team. I also like doing trekking and hiking trips in the countryside and mountains. Finally, I consider myself a very educated and polite person, who loves meeting new people and discovering new things.
