I babysat on a few occasions when I was younger. My most recent job in relation to working with children would be experienced such as assisting with summer camps and teaching swim lessons to kids from 2years of age to 14-15years
I am fully qualified and competent in first aid due to both the nature of my course choice. I also trained in first aid years prior due to my years of experience as a children’s swim teacher and a lifeguard.
I volunteered for two years (one hour a week during term time and occasional competitions) with coaching both adults and children with intellectual disabilities including Autism and Down Syndrome.
I have had plenty of experience with babies in my placements as a student midwife and I am comfortable caring for one!
