Hi there! My name is Sara, I am 25 years old and have been living and working in Dublin for the past 2 years. I've been babysitting occasionally since I was 16 years old and have been mostly working with children between the ages of 2-6 years old as a swimming instructor (I started from age 18). Besides that, I have also worked a lot with special needs children of all ages. I've always loved working with children, and even when moving to Dublin, I was eager to babysit my neighbors kids and loved to help out a family in any way I can. I am currently looking to spend more time helping families with taking care of their children and helping out in any way necessary. MY EDUCATION Originally I studied marketing and I had a corporate job for a few years. However, I always spent my free time with children, may it be swimming lessons, sport camps or occasionally babysitting. It's safe to say that I am very passionate about helping children develop and that there is nothing more rewarding in this world then to spend time with a child for me. As part of becoming a swimming coach, I also followed all the necessary trainings to work with children and teach them how to swim. I received my certification in 2017, which also included CPR trainings. MY PERSONALITY As a person, I am very loving, caring, enthusiastic, energetic and patient. I mostly value the overall development of a child and find it important to align with your parenting style. I find it mostly important that a child is listened to and that they are challenged to further develop on their own level and that they can complete the challenge on their own time and pace. I always try to create a safe space where children are comfortable learning and further developing. WHAT I AM LOOKING FOR My schedule is very flexible. Currently I am looking for a babysitting job may it either be long-term or short term. I would gladly make myself available for a couple of days a week for as long as you need me.
