I started to work as a nanny in 2020 in Brazil until I come to here in February 2022. And nowadays I’m working in the west wood in the childcare, I stay in the Afterschool room with 12 kids between 4 and 5 years old, I’ve been there since July.
I have Children’s First Aid Certificate, but I never need to use.
On weekdays mornings, I took care of 18 months little girl, called Laura Luna (other Laura haha), and her little brother newborn Apolo (he was just 9 days). Laura Luna loved to explore the nature and run outdoors, swing and slide on the playground, play dough and with blocks. With Apolo I just put him down for a nap and help his mom when she needed me (she was breastfeeding). I used to bath, feed, dress, change diapers, put down for a nap both of them. Today they are 2 and 1 year old. Their mother is a psychologist and she taught me a lot too, we still talk, sometimes I still see the children, I have a lot of affection for the family.
