About Me
Qualified Level 8 Honours Degree Early Childhood Degree and QQI Level 6 in SNA. I have one and a half years experience of working in a local creche mainly in a baby room but also in Montessori. My duties included changing nappies, creating a safe and sanitary environment for the children as well as regular activity planning in co-operation with the Early Years Curriculum, and creating learning opportunities on a daily basis. I also have several years of experience babysitting locally and some abroad. I am also Guarda Vetted and have completed Children’s First Training, Manual Handlung, and Paediatric First Aid. Yes, I have experience working with children in a local primary school where I assisted them with school work and other daily tasks. I also have a qualification in Special Needs Education.
Experience with Children Under 2 Years
Yes, I worked with several babies at a time in a baby room in a local creche where I assisted them with feeding, dressing and changing of nappies. I also created learning and play activities on a daily basis involving outdoor play, arts and crafts, music, reading, dancing and yoga. I developed an effective daily routine for the children and also assisted them with any medicine administration, dietary needs and created a safe and happy environment for the children to learn.
