About Me
I am a qualified therapeutic play practitioner and have 2 years experience of working with children in play therapy sessions. I have a level 8 honours degree in early childhood education with many years of experience working with children age 6 months -12 years in creche and early childhood settings as well as experience supporting individuals with complex needs and mental health difficulties in schools and residential settings. I have also completed courses and received certificates for the following:
- trauma informed care
Manual handling
Mapa training
Paediatric first aid
Experience using lamh and communication devices And PECS - working with teenagers who are non-verbal

Yes, I have experience working with children in a local primary school where I assisted them with school work and other daily tasks. I also have a qualification in Special Needs Education. I have experience working with teenagers with complex disabilities and mental health difficulties in a residential setting, working with individuals of all different communication needs (eg, LAMH, communication devices, PECS)
Experience with Children Under 2 Years
Yes, I worked with several babies at a time in a baby room in a local creche where I assisted them with feeding, dressing and changing of nappies. I also created learning and play activities on a daily basis involving outdoor play, arts and crafts, music, reading, dancing and yoga. I developed an effective daily routine for the children and also assisted them with any medicine administration, dietary needs and created a safe and happy environment for the children to learn.
