My name is Sara, I am 20 years old and I am from the Canary Islands in Spain. I am caring, responsible and considerate and I love working and playing with children. I have worked as a children´s activity planner, after-school activities coach and as a babysitter. I would love to have the opportunity to improve my English while caring for children, forming a bond with my host family and learning about your culture. This summer I worked as a teacher in The American School of Las Palmas’s Summer Camp. (My class, ages 9-14). This was a great experience and had a blast with the kids! I am polite and respectful with all those around me. I am not materialistic and I try to be resourceful when looking for solutions to problems. I think honesty is important and helping others. I have a High School Diploma and have done some professional development related to education and recreation for school aged children. My goal is to eventually further my education in a similar field. I have worked as an after-school activities supervisor which included organising games and activities for children between the ages of 2 and 18. I have also helped to organise special events for children with disabilities. I worked for primary schools as part of the early drop off service. In this job I had to look after and provide morning activities for a group of 20 children before the school day began. I have always wanted to travel and explore new places and new possibilities. I love being with people and learning from them. I really want to improve my English and find opportunities that I don´t have where I live. I would like to learn more about your country and culture.
