Hi! My name is Miriam and I'm a Spanish college student. I’m 21 years old and currently currently undertaking the last year of my Journalism degree in Seville, my city of birth. As an only child who has always desired siblings, I love kids. I've worked with children for the past few years, both for private tutoring (mostly English lessons) and as a Scout leader (as seen in my picture). Because of that, I'm used to taking care of them, as well as playing while teaching them new things. I'm really energetic and fond of nature, therefore I enjoy doing sports and being outdoors a lot. The website sent me your profile because I’ve already been paired up with a host family as an AuPair in Dun Laoghaire this past July and with a few babysitting jobs in the area since. I couldn’t help but contact you as your beautiful family seems like a perfect fit for me and I’ll love to repeat my AuPair experience hopefully starting by the end of this month or beginning of March. I’ve lived in Dun Laoghaire from July until December with a lovely family of a single mother and two children aged 6 and 12. I was only supposed to stay for the summer as I had to return to my college lessons in Seville, but my bond with them was so strong that I decided to stay for a few more months. Sadly, I finally had to come back to Spain to take my final exams. It was me who found their next and current AuPair, one of my closest friends. Suzannah (my host mother) knew that I’m in love with Ireland and that I was thinking about repeating this experience, so she wrote a reference letter for me and told me that any potential family could give her a call if they found it necessary. If the time comes I could tell you more about myself and my childcare experience. During my time in Ireland I babysat for two 3y/o twins who I also loved, their mother Sarah is too one of my references. I’m fluent in English since I’ve had a bilingual education and studied in Dublin since I was 15. I’m also used to driving in Ireland since it was one of the requirements for my last family.
