Experience with Children Under 2 Years

Good morning, my name is Luciana, I'm 38 years old and I'm from Brazil. I'm contacting you regarding your ad on the Sitter web site: I am very interested in the childminder position you have posted. I'm a mature and experienced childminder. I have been working as a childminder for almost 7 years and I have always worked with Irish families within the Stillorgan, Blackrock, Skankill and Inchicore areas. Therefore, I will have no problem providing you with good reference letters and even arrange for you to meet one of those families personally if you think it’s important. I have lived in Dublin for 6 years, currently I am in Milan for renewing my Italian visa and I'm planning to return to Dublin in the beginning of April 2021. In Dublin I'm based in knocklion but I'll have no problem in move to different areas according to the job location. My last childminding job was for a family in South Circular Road, and I stayed with them for 10 months. I used to mind two wonderful boys, ages 10 months and 3 years old. They were a great family and I had a very good relationship with the boys and parents. The only reason I finished working with them, was the fact that I needed to take a year off in Milan, Italy to study Italian. (I told the family before beginning that I would only been able to stay with them for 10 months). My usually duties as a childminder would mostly be as follows: I arrive at work by 8am and my primary activity is caring for the children. I give them their breakfast, bathe and dress them and we play together. Frequently, we go for walks to the shops or to the park and local playing groups. When we come back to the house, I give them lunch and normally the children like to take a morning nap. I then do some light house work: tidying playroom, sitting room, kitchen, I also would take care of the children's rooms and their cloths. I will have no problem in cooking for the children or even to help to make the evening meal at times or help to prepare it. In the afternoons, I give them lunch around 12.30, and then I take them for a nice walk or we stay at home and I try to find something nice for us to do together like: painting, cooking children’s’ recipes. I'm available to babysit in the evenings and on weekends if needed and also stay overnight if the parents wish to have a weekend off. PS: In case you preferer to have someone living closer to you house, I will have no problem in trying to find a house or an apartment near you. I’ve never smoked, drink occasionally. In my free time I like spending time with friends, reading and going out for walks. PS: For the position posted by you I would ask 11.50 per hour PS: unfortunatly I cant drive Hoping to hear from you soon. Luciana
