Hi I'm Laura, I'm 27 and living in Malahide. I have a degree in Event Management and am also an actor, writer and child minder. I was living in London for a few years where I was mainly acting and touring comedy shows but have recently returned home. I have over ten years experience with children, starting out babysitting at a young age then moving onto childminding including school pick ups, preparing food, homework and activities. My mother owned a preschool for many years and growing up I regularly helped out. I have minded various ages from 8 months to 14 years, both girls and boys. I also have experience minding children with additional needs. Working with children brings me a lot of joy and I find it extremely rewarding. I love being able to teach and help them develop while offering a safe, encouraging and fun environment. My experience over the years enables me to understand and adapt to each child's individual needs and personality, helping them to feel comfortable and confident, both in themselves and with me. I am a very creative person who loves acting, drawing and sports, which I like to incorporate with the children if they have an interest. Unfortunately I do not have a driving license yet however I am more than happy to walk or take public transport depending on what is required!
