Experienced Childminder / Family Assistant – Dublin 4 (25 Hours per Week) We are a friendly, busy family living in Dublin 4, close to UCD, with three children aged 9, 7 and 4. We are looking for a warm, capable and experienced person to help manage our busy family afternoons, prepare family meals, assist with household tasks and provide regular evening babysitting. This is a lovely opportunity for someone who genuinely enjoys children, is confident managing a busy household and is looking for a consistent, longterm position. **Hours:** - 20 hours per week of afternoon childcare and family assistance. - An additional 5 hours of evening babysitting each week - **25 paid hours per week in total.** **Responsibilities include:** - School collections and driving the children to and from after\-school activities - Supervising and engaging with three children, including helping with homework and managing afternoon routines - Preparing a simple, healthy family meal every weekday - General household laundry and ironing for the whole family, including washing, folding and putting clothes away - Keeping the kitchen tidy after meal preparation - Light household tidying and organisation, including children’s bedrooms, school bags and belongings - Helping keep the family organised and afternoon routines running smoothly - One evening of babysitting each week (approximately 5 hours\) **The ideal candidate will:** - Have substantial previous experience caring for young children, ideally multiple siblings - Be confident managing three children independently, with a calm, warm and positive approach to behaviour and boundaries - Be a confident, experienced driver with a full driving licence (family car provided) - Be comfortable cooking simple, nutritious family meals daily - Be happy to undertake household laundry, ironing and light tidying. - Be reliable, organised, proactive and able to use their initiative - Be kind, energetic and genuinely enjoy spending time with children - Have excellent references from previous families - Have excellent English **Location:** Dublin 4, very close to UCD **Pay:** Competitive hourly rate, depending on experience We would love to find someone who can become a trusted, valued and long-term part of our family’s routine If interested, please get in touch
