Seeking Part-time Nanny Shankill Dublin

We are a friendly family of four living in Shankill: my partner and I, our 14-year-old son, our 8-month-old daughter, and our cat, George. We are looking for a caring, reliable nanny to look after our 8-month-old for two half days (days flexible) per week in our home. As she is still breastfed, care is based in our home so I can be close by. I own a music school and work mainly from home doing admin, with occasional visits to the school in Dún Laoghaire. On those days, I would need the nanny to accompany me while continuing to care for our baby. The office will be fully set up and baby-friendly. Our baby is happy, curious, and enjoys outdoor time, walks, and interaction. We’re hoping to find someone warm, enthusiastic, and confident with babies who will support her development through play and gentle care. Start date & flexibility: We are looking for someone to start as soon as possible. We are very flexible over the summer, so the days do not need to be fixed every week. From September, we would ideally move to set, consistent hours each week. Responsibilities: - Caring for our 8-month-old during the day - Engaging in play and age-appropriate activities - Going for walks and outdoor time - Feeding, naps, and following her cues - Keeping baby areas tidy We are looking for someone who is: - Warm, friendly, and reliable - Experienced or confident with babies - Happy to be active and outdoors - A good communicator - Happy with part-time work (6-12 hours a week) Requirements: - Fluent English - Garda Vetting required - References available We are a relaxed, welcoming family and hope to find someone who will become a trusted part of our daughter’s routine.
