Part-Time Nanny Position in Leopardstown (D18) - Long-Term Family Fit

We are a warm, kind family in Leopardstown, Dublin 18 (right next to a Luas stop) looking for an experienced, reliable, and engaging nanny to join us long-term and become an extension of our family. This role is for caring for our two lovely boys: a 6-month-old baby and a 4-year-old. We need help for the afternoon-evening hours, while probably one of the parents will be home. The starting date is flexible. 📅 Schedule & Compensation: Hours: 16-20 hours per week. Time: Monday to Thursday, 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Flexibility: We may occasionally request extra hours for evening/weekend babysitting, to be agreed upon in advance. 👶 Main Responsibilities: School/Crèche pickup occasionally (9 minute walk from our home). Infant feeding, nappy changes, and following the baby's routine. Basic cooking for the family.Preparing and serving dinner/bottles for the children. Bath/Shower. Engaging the boys in age-appropriate games, reading, and educational activities. Performing light tidying related only to the children (e.g., clearing up toys after play, rinsing children's dishes). Completing the bedtime routine for both children. 🌟 What We're Looking For: Essential: Proven, verifiable experience with both infants (under 1 year) and older pre-schoolers. Responsibility, high punctuality, and a genuinely kind disposition. Conversational or Fluent English for clear communication and safety. Must be able to provide strong, verifiable references from previous childcare employers. Valid First Aid/CPR certification is a plus.
