Part-Time Nanny for 1-Year-Old in Ranelagh Dublin | 12 hrs/week

We are recruiting an experienced nanny to provide regular care for a one-year-old child in Dublin. Core weekly schedule: Tuesday 11:00–15:00 Wednesday 12:00–16:00 Thursday 12:00–16:00 12 guaranteed scheduled hours per week, with potential for additional hours as the family’s needs develop. As the successful candidate will have opportunities to build additional weekly hours. We are looking for someone calm, warm and confident with toddlers. Care is screen-free and centred around reading, floor play, age-appropriate activities, outdoor time and following the child’s cues without overstimulation. Main responsibilities include: - attentive one-to-one care and supervision - age-appropriate play and developmental activities - reading, interaction and outdoor activities - preparing simple meals/snacks where required - child-related tidying after meals and activities - maintaining the child’s agreed routines To be considered, you should have: - minimum 2 years’ professional childcare experience, ideally with babies/toddlers aged 0 -3 - QQI Level 5 in Early Learning & Care/Childcare or equivalent, or substantial verified professional experience - strong professional references - right to work in Ireland - Children First safeguarding training - Paediatric First Aid - willingness to complete Garda vetting before commencing care - reliable availability for all three core days Please only apply if you can commit to the Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday schedule above.
