We’re looking for a warm, reliable person to help our family once or twice a week. We have two lovely children—a 13-month-old girl and a five-year-old boy.
Initially, I’ll be at home while trust is built and you get to know the children. The role would mainly involve playing with our little girl, taking her for a walk or keeping her happily occupied, alongside light family jobs such as folding laundry, tidying toys, emptying the dishwasher or helping prepare a simple dinner.
Over time, we’d love to find someone who becomes a familiar and consistent person in our children’s lives, feels comfortable minding both children occasionally and may be available for the odd evening of babysitting.
We’re initially thinking one regular 5 hour block per week, with the possibility of increasing to two days. We can be flexible about the day and hours for the right person.
Experience with toddlers and strong references are essential. Garda vetting or willingness to obtain it is important. a driving licence/car is essential.
This is a paid, ongoing role. Please message privately with a little about yourself, your childcare experience, availability, expected hourly rate and references.
