Part time childminder for 2 children in Malahide

Hi, we are a professional couple looking for a caring, responsible and experienced person to care for our two young children – a seven-year-old boy and a 5-year-old girl, starting December 1st in Malahide. We are looking for someone with at least 1 years’ experience in childcare/teaching work. You must love children and be mature, reliable, trustworthy, punctual and patient. You will be required to work from 2pm to 7pm, with occasional evenings/school holidays. Our son would get picked up at 2.30pm from the local school, and our daughter would get picked up at 4.30pm from after school club. Our son is autistic requiring Level 1 support, so having experience with neurodivergent children is essential for us. We are a non-smoking household and would prefer a non-smoker. Your responsibilities will include: Light housework, homework, playing, running errands, occasional afterschool activities, making/serving dinner, and sometimes bedtime prep. You will need a current First Aid certificate, Garda Vetting, and a driver’s licence. A Certificate in Child Care will also be highly regarded, as will having your own vehicle.
