Job Description

Looking for a minder for our currently 6month old baby boy. He is full of energy and curiosity. He is fed on formula milk and eats solid foods on baby lead approach, unfortunately he has a Sesame seed allergy.

We need someone to mind him on SOME WEEKDAYS from 6.30am to 6.30pm (may end earlier or later until the other parent arrives) and occasional 6.30am-8.30am. No weekends minding needed (but may on emergency or on-call shifts, though rarely.)

We need someone to do basic care on him. You can feed him your homecooked meals or ethnic food (provided NO sesame of any kind) and eat together, encouraging him and praising him. Let him practice crawling and standing. Sing rhymes, dance and read him books. You may teach and speak your native language on him, as we his parents are of different nationality. Occasional walks to parks or anywhere safe. Some light tidying and cooking may happen.

We would be delighted if the candidate has:
-Done some childminding courses or healthcare studies (not a must but highly preferred)
-MUST KNOW/CERTIFIED Baby/child CPR and First aid.
- Knows how to use an Epipen and alert emergency services.
-Experience with young babies, reference needed
-Can work as early as 6.30am and as late as 6.30pm or 7pm
-CAN ACCOMODATE OUR CHILD IN THEIR HOME (subject to house inspection- safe and babyproof)
-Garda Vetted
-Has a car and driving license. May need to collect and/or drop child at home.
