Nanny / Childminder Needed – Kilmacud, D14 - Afternoons, Monday to Thursday

We are looking for a kind, patient and caring nanny to look after our 3-year-old son from 3:00pm to 5:30pm, Monday to Thursday. We are a bilingual and half Irish-Spanish family. Based in Kilmacud (12min walk from Luas), Dublin 14. We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys spending time with young children and is interested in getting to know and becoming part of their world. Our son is active, curious and loves to play, so we would love someone who is happy to join in with his games, follow his interests and energy, while also encouraging his curiosity and helping him discover and learn through play. We follow a gentle parenting approach with kind, consistent boundaries. It is important to us that the person looking after our son is warm, respectful and patient, and sees challenging moments as opportunities to connect and guide rather than to control or punish. We are therefore looking for someone who has a child-centred and respectful approach, rather than an authoritarian mindset towards children. If you are someone who genuinely loves spending time with little ones, enjoys play and conversation, and would like to build a warm relationship with our son, we would love to hear from you.
