Live in Au Pair - Bundoran, Donegal, Ireland - to start end of August 2024 Type of person we’re looking for: Kind, caring, organised & diligent Au pair for 1 year old boy & 7 year old boy. Passion for organic food & enjoys the outdoors and animals. Ideally suit a student looking to experience Ireland for a year Working Hours: 40 hours a week Pay: €400 per week or €10 per hour, plus accommodation, food & associated bills are included Accommodation provided: Old coach house converted into beautiful apartments. It’s got everything you could want, including a wood-burning stove, shower and bath, dishwasher, underfloor heating, coffee machine, tv and wifi. We are located 500m from the beach. Close by we have an organic farm with cows, hens, geese and pigs. We also grow organic vegetables. About the role: Supporting mother and 1 year old & looking after 7 year old child, including bringing/driving to and from school Organising activities and play dates Involves some travel throughout the year Willingness to help with light homework where required Light housekeeping Putting to bed on some evenings Must have a full driving licence Must have Visa to work in Ireland Some evenings and some weekends are required each month Animal lover - farm includes cows, hens, pigs and vegetables A little about our family We are a family of four. We have a 1 year old boy and our first child is 7 years old and attends school close by. He loves lego, swimming, surfing and rambling outdoors. We’ve two small dogs and a farm cat. We work from home, though travel abroad occasionally. We love to cook for friends. About the area About half a kilometre from our home is a fantastic bakery & cafe. They bake all their own cakes and much more. There are also two restaurants and pubs, a shop, and a hotel right on the beach. Everything is within walking distance, but we also have electric bikes and a car for longer trips. A little Donegal “Donegal named coolest place on the planet by National Geographic” reported The Guardian newspaper in recent years. County Donegal is in the far northwest of Ireland. It’s a stunningly beautiful country with epic cliffs, beautiful beaches and some of the best hiking trails in Europe.
