Housekeeper / After‑School Support – Dublin 9 Location: Dublin 9 Start date: 1 June Hours: c25 hours per week, afternoons / early evenings] Contract: Long‑term, part‑time About the role We are a family based in Dublin 9 with three teenagers (ages 12, 14 and 16) and are seeking a reliable, organised and warm housekeeper / after‑school support person to help keep the household running smoothly during the afternoons. This role is less about hands‑on childcare and more about structure, supervision and household organisation. We are keen to find someone long‑term who will become a trusted and consistent presence in our home. Key responsibilities After‑school support Being at home after school to provide supervision and support Preparing simple, healthy meals/snacks Encouraging homework completion and routines Occasional school pick‑ups / activities (if applicable) Providing a calm, responsible adult presence Housekeeping General household cleaning and tidying Laundry Keeping kitchen and common areas organised, not deep cleaning Light meal prep, Dinner prep, Running occasional errands if required Experience as a housekeeper, mother’s help, childminder or nanny Comfortable working with older children/teenagers Garda vetted (or willing to be vetted) Organised, dependable and practical Adult presence for play dates. Accompany the 12 year old as required to shops etc. References from previous families Non‑smoker preferred Driving licence helpful but not essential Hours & pay € tbc per hour, depending on experience, 20 - 25 hours per week - maybe a little longer in school holidays.
