Full-Time Nanny for 2 girls (2 years & 9 months) in SCRd, Limerick

Job Details: Location: South Circular Road, Limerick Start Date: 9th June 2025 Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (Flexible working hours) Contract Length: 12 months (live-out nanny/childminder) Job Description: We are a warm and welcoming family based on the South Circular Road in Limerick, seeking an experienced and nurturing full-time nanny/childminder to care for our two children in our home. The role primarily involves caring for our 9-month-old baby girl and 2-year-old girl also. We are looking for someone who is genuinely passionate about working with young children, and who can create a safe, engaging, and loving environment in our home. Key Responsibilities: •Full-time care of a 9-month-old baby • Full-time care of a 2-year-old (Child may attend playgroups) • Planning age-appropriate activities to support development for each child • Preparing meals and snacks for the children • Maintaining the children’s routine (naps, feeds, playtime) • Light housekeeping related to the children, including tidying toys, and children’s laundry • Driving children to playgroups and outings as appropriate Essential Criteria: • Relevant childcare qualifications (e.g., FETAC/QQI Level 5 or higher in Childcare or Early Years Education) • Experience working with babies under 12 months • Full driving licence • First aid qualification • Warm, personable, and reliable • Fluent in English Desirable Criteria: • Additional childcare-related qualifications (e.g., early childhood development courses) • Experience working in a home-based setting • Flexibility for occasional evening babysitting (if mutually agreed) Offer: • Competitive hourly rate (dependent on experience and qualifications) • Holiday pay included • Friendly and respectful working environment • Opportunity to build a long-term relationship with a lovely family To Apply: Please send your CV and a brief cover note outlining your experience and suitability for the role.
