Childminder / Nanny for 12 Month Old in Ardfert

We are looking for a kind, caring and reliable childminder for our little boy, Elijah, who is currently 8 months old. We are based in the Ardfert area and are hoping to find someone lovely and ideally local who may have availability from December 2026/January 2027. Ideally, we would love to gradually settle Elijah in during December before I return fully to work in early January. Our preferred childcare days/hours are: • Monday, Tuesday & Thursday: approx. 8.30/8.45am–4.15pm • Wednesday: approx. 8.30/8.45am–1.30pm • Friday: potentially a full day if available. We are very flexible and would happily consider 3.5 days per week if that is what the right childminder has available. My husband is an SNA in a secondary school, so he finishes early on Wednesdays and is off during school holidays and over the summer. Elijah would therefore not require childcare during school holidays or the summer months, which may suit a childminder who follows a similar schedule or has school-age children. The role would primarily involve caring for Elijah during the day, including his feeds/meals, naps, playtime, walks/outings and age-appropriate activities. We are simply looking for someone warm, attentive and nurturing who will provide a happy and safe home-from-home environment for him. Previous experience caring for babies is important to us, and references would be greatly appreciated.
