Childminder

We are currently seeking a reliable and caring child minder. Were based in Turner’s Cross, Cork, to help with care for our three children: Our two-year-old son, who attends preschool in Togher. Our 11-month-old daughter. And our 13 year old son who is attending secondary school. Schedule & Hours An average of 15 hours per week Total care of children : 11 month old 15 hrs 2 year old 9 one week , 14 the other week 13 year old only. Every second week on Sundays for 5 hours The child minder will be required on the following days and times: Mondays:9:30 pm – 2:15 pm Tuesdays: 9:30 pm – 2.15pm Every second Friday: 9:30 pm – 2.15 pm Every second Sunday: 12:30 pm – 5:30 pm Duties Care for the two youngest children until preschool drop off. Drop our two-year-old son to preschool for 1:00 pm. Care for the youngest until 2.15. 13 year old may or may not be home every second Sunday . Nappy changing, changing to fresh clothes when needed,giving snacks , meals and drinks which will all be provided for the children. Transport If the child minder has their own transport, we will need to confirm whether they have appropriate car seats. If not, we will provide them. If the child minder does not drive or hold a full license, public transport may be used. In this case, the starting hours may need to be adjusted to allow time for travel. Fuel money or a public transported card will be provided in either case. Requirements Previous experience with young children is preferred. Reliability, punctuality, and good communication are essential. References will be requested. Garda vetting is a plus but not a requirement based on quality of references provided. The child minder will be required on the following days and times: Mondays: 12:30 pm – 5:30 pm Tuesdays: 12:30 pm – 5:30 pm Every second Friday: 12:30 pm – 5:30 pm Every second Sunday: 12:30 pm – 5:30 pm Duties Drop our two-year-old son to preschool for 1:00 pm. Collect him from preschool at 3:45 pm. Care for the two youngest children until 5:30 pm. Our 13 year old son will make his own way home from school and be home for approximately the last hour.
