Child minder/Au Pair (Optional) in Ennis for 1 Boy

wanted to share a clear picture of our family and the role, so you can decide if it feels like the right fit. We’re looking for an au pair to come live with us and help care for my son. Finn was 11 in September. He’s a beautiful, kind, content fair-haired boy who loves people, music, exploring, swimming, shopping, and a great hug! He brings a lot of warmth to the house. It’s also important to be upfront: Finn has additional/special needs. He needs more support than a typically developing child of his age, especially with communication, routines, and day-to-day independence. Because of this, the right person for our family is someone who is patient, calm, reliable, and comfortable working with extra structure and guidance. You will not be thrown in at the deep end. All training is provided, and we give as much support as you need. We’ll show you Finn’s routines step-by-step, what works best for him, and how we handle things when he’s overwhelmed or needs extra help. We’ll build your confidence gradually, and you’ll always have someone to lean on with questions. We’ve hosted au pairs for the past 9 years and it has been a genuinely brilliant experience for all of us. Finn has formed a special bond with every au pair, and we love how they’ve helped him try new foods, learn new experiences, and explore where we live.
