Babysitter for 2 toddlers at Markree Castle, County Sligo — July 22

We are looking for a babysitter to help with our two toddlers during a friend's wedding at Markree Castle on July 22. Ages: 3.5-year-old boy and 1.5-year-old girl. Our son is very verbal and potty trained, though he needs reminders to use the potty to avoid accidents. Our daughter is walking, starting to talk, and still in diapers. Both children are bilingual in Spanish and English. Hours: Approximately 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM/midnight. End time is flexible depending on how the evening goes. What the role looks like: The children are invited to the wedding, and we expect them to participate in parts of the ceremony and reception. We need someone available to step in when the kids need attention we can't give — redirecting them if they're restless, taking them for a walk around the grounds, or keeping them entertained on the sidelines. We will have toys and activities on hand. Dinner is expected around 6:00 PM. If the formal dinner setting isn't working well with the kids, we'll need you to take them, feed them separately, and eventually get them down for bed in our room at the castle. Since we're staying on the property, transitions to and from the room will be easy. Some of our friends' children will also be at the wedding with their own sitter, so there will be opportunities for group play as well. Bedtime: Our daughter sleeps in a baby cot and our son in a twin bed. We'll have a sound machine. They love reading books and listening to songs before bed, and once they're down, they're great sleepers — no issues expected after that. Logistics: You will need to arrange your own transport to Markree Castle. Please plan to bring your own meal.
